Fun twist on photocop

I’ve never been a big fan of photocop, the system in which a machine photographs speeders and their license plates, then sends citations to their homes. It has always seemed too draconian to me. But the video below puts a fun twist on it and has, I believe, the potential to work because it makes people feel good about obeying the law, not just angry about being caught disobeying.
I realize this is was from a sponsored contest, and I’m not trying to give Volkswagen any special publicity. Just look at the concept and see what you think.
