Ask Chaffetz

I’ve asked for your help on this sort of thing before – giving me questions you’d like to ask in advance of a meeting I’m having with a newsmaker. That has proven to be popular. This is a different twist on the concept.

On Wednesday, Dec. 2, I will be moderating a “twitterlog” with Utah Rep. Jason Chaffetz. That’s Twitterspeak for a dialog, which is one step up from an interview. He will be in Washington. I’ll be in Salt Lake City. People who follow the Deseret News on Twitter will be able to ask questions using the hashtag #dnews. In the interest of keeping things orderly, I will select questions to pass on to Chaffetz for his answers.

Consider this an exclusive offer to get in on the action early. Post your question to this blog and, as long as it’s not too wacky, you will stand an excellent chance that I will pass it on to the congressman.

If you’re not on Twitter, don’t worry. I’ll get a transcript of the session and post it here later.

As this is a holiday week, I’ll leave this blog post up in order to give you plenty of time. Fire away.
