What happened to SNL skit?

I’m not a big fan of Saturday Night Live, but last Saturday’s show contained a mock press conference on the bailout that was priceless. It pretty much skewered everyone, but especially Nancy Pelosi, mortgage lenders Herbert and Marion Sandler, and billionaire George Soros.

I watched it yesterday on nbc.com. But when I went there to show my wife last night, it had disappeared. Then I found a copy on YouTube. Sometime this morning, that disappeared, too. As far as I can tell, it’s disappearing all over the Internet faster than the equity in your 401(k).

Michelle Malkin discusses it here and provides her own theory.

A friend of mine said the video is still available here, but I have a hard time getting it to come up.

I tend to discount conspiracy theorists and extremists on both the left and the right. It seems clear to me that NBC pulled this for legal reasons. Most likely Herbert and Marion Sandler didn’t like their portrayal, especially the caption describing them as “people who should be shot.”

I’m no legal expert, but that would seem to be actionable.

What do you folks think? Did you see the video?
