4-day workweek revisited

Sorry for the lull in this blog. I’ve been on vacation. But that’s behind me now and I’m ready to tackle issues again.

Awhile back, we discussed the governor’s four-day workweek plan. Now that it’s been in effect awhile, I’d like to know how you think it’s working.

Earlier this week, Senate President John Valentine and Senate Majority Leader Curt Bramble visited with the editorial board. Valentine said he is willing to support the governor in his one-year trial of the effort, but I definitely got the impression the Senate leaders were less than enthused with the idea.

Here’s a snippet of the meeting. The first voice is mine, asking whether Valentine felt a four-day workweek was a good idea. You’ll hear his voice, and then Bramble’s.

What do you think?
